Ms. Marcia Carter English, age 42, passed away Monday, February 25, 2013 at her residence. She was born on July 1, 1970 in Robeson County to Ertle Max Carter and Christine Walters Gaddy. She was employed as a charge nurse at Wesley Pines Retirement Community in Lumberton. She also worked with Hospice in our community for eight years. Marcia is survived by her father and step-mother, Ertle and Dovie Carter, of Lumberton; her mother and step-father, Christine and Bob Gaddy, of Lumberton; special friend, Mark Halliburton, of Lumberton; two sons, Christopher Fowler, of Fayetteville, and Tyler English, of the home; one daughter, Savanna Fowler, of the home; one sister, Terri Collins and husband, Kenny, of Lumberton; a niece, Maranda Collins, of Lumberton; and a nephew, Ken Collins, of Fayetteville.
