Mrs. Mamie Grant, age 76, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Saturday, August 19, 2023, at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, NC. She was born in Robeson County, NC on April 7, 1947, to the late Albert & Myrtle Brewer Overstreet.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell E. Grant, Sr.; her daughter, Kim Davis; her brother, Buddy Overstreet; and her sister: Lucy Russ, Hilda Bundy, and Nancy Davis.

She is survived by her sons, Edgar Grant (Ronna) and Kenny Grant, both of Lumberton, NC; her daughter, Tammy Powers of Lumberton, NC; 9 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren; and her sister, Hazel Phillips of Lumberton, NC.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton, NC.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Full Gospel Tabernacle, 104 Carolina Avenue in Lumberton, NC, with Rev. George Connor officiating. Burial will follow at New Hollywood Cemetery in Lumberton, NC.
