Mae Skipper Carroll, 94, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Monday November 10, 2025.  She was born in Robeson County, NC on July 3, 1931 to the late Garland Skipper and the late Sally Mae Rowland Skipper.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rowland Dewey Carroll, Sr. and her siblings, Robert Glen Skipper, Hilda Fields, Billie Rose Holmes and Milton Skipper.

She is survived by her three children, Jeffrey Lynn Carroll (Janie) of Troy, NC, Rowland Dewey Carroll, Jr. (Cindy) of Garner and Connie Carroll Herring (Delvin) of St. Pauls; her grandchildren, Jamie Carroll (Alper), Ridge Carroll, Laura Harrell (Blake), Adam Bass (Summer) and Brittany Ackerman (Corey) as well as her great-grandchildren, Ben, Emma, Olivia, Thomas and James.

The visitation will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2025 from 10:00 to 11:00AM at Floyd Memorial Chapel in Lumberton with the funeral to follow at 11:00AM with Pastor Jeff Blackburn officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowbrook Cemetery in Lumberton.
