Macie Jewel Green Price, 88, of Lumberton, NC died at her residence on Monday, June 22, 2009. She was born in Bladen County on August 18, 1920 to Wallace Nimrod Green and Mattie Guyton Green. Mrs. Price was self-employed as a caterer and was the last living Charter Member of the First Pentecostal Holiness Church in Lumberton.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Hugh Price and her granddaughter, Robyn Tilley.

Mrs. Price is survived by her son, Leonard Price and wife Lois Ann of Lumberton and foster-son, Ronnie Gibson and wife Wanda of Fuquay-Varina, NC; a daughter, Wanda Richardson and husband, Harry of Pittsboro, NC; a sister-in-law, Elizabeth Green of Six Mile, SC; three grandchildren, Kimberly Bryan, David Stone and Jill Higley; and ten great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the First Pentecostal Holiness Church with Reverend Tim Bowen officiating. Burial will follow at New Hollywood Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, June 24, 2009 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton.
