Mable Esther Locklear Lester, age 82, of Lumberton, NC, passed away October 13, 2020.  She was born January 31, 1938 to the late Gail Lampka.

Along with her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Lester;  a brother, Richard Lampka; and a sister, Rosa Lee Connor.

She is survived by her  three sons; Ricky Scott and wife Jeanne Rea Scott of Hope Mills, Frankie Scott of the home and girlfriend / mom's caregiver Ruthy Elaine Walters, and Christopher Scott and his fiance' Janice Russ of Lumberton; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A private graveside service will be held for immediate family only Saturday October 17, 2020, with Rev. Russell Kinlaw Sr. officiating.
