Lynn Croom Collins, age 66, of Lumberton, passed away Monday, November 5, 2012 at her home. She was born on May 2, 1946 in Marion County, SC to the late A.W. Croom and the late Monis Boyette Croom. She was a teacher for the Public Schools of Robeson County.

Mrs. Collins is survived by her husband, Danny Collins, of the home; three sons, Steve Collins, of Lumberton, Pat Collins, of Lumberton, and Shawn Collins, of Elizabethtown, TN; a sister, Pat Barnum, of Gainesville, FL; and four grandchildren, Logan Collins, Maranda Collins, Jenner Collins, and Joshua Collins.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, November 8, 2012 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 9, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Hedrick Jones, Dr. David Elks, and Rev. Joe Bounds officiating.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Southeastern Hospice, 2002 N. Cedar Street, Lumberton, NC 28358.
