Mrs. Lynda Price, age 86, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Monday, March 15, 2021, at Wesley Pines Nursing Center in Lumberton, NC. She was born in Seven Springs, NC on September 12, 1934 to the late George Rayton Rouse, Jr. and the late Annie Raiford Rouse. She was formerly employed as a bookkeeper in accounting.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Deborah Price Groves, and two brothers, George Rayton Rouse, Jr. and her twin, John Lyndwood Rouse.

She is survived by her husband, Titus "Nelson" Price of the home; two sons, Gregory L. Price and wife Gwenn of N. Myrtle Beach, SC and Andy Price and wife Patricia of Red Springs, NC; a daughter, Joanna Price Read and husband Carey of Lumberton, NC; 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; a sister, Marjorie Rouse Knight and husband Daniel of Lugoff, SC; and a sister-in-law, Peggy Morris Rouse of Seven Springs, NC.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Thursday, March 18, 2021, from 10:00-11:00 AM at Chestnut Street United Methodist Church in Lumberton, NC. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM with Pastor Herbert Lowry, Jr. officiating.
