Lue Ellen Ivey, 82, of Lumberton, NC passed away on Friday, January 27, 2023, after an extended illness. She was born on August 5, 1940 in Lumberton, NC to the late Lila Myrtle Newman and Charlie Jordan.

Along with her parents, Lue Ellen was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Harry Ivey.

She is survived by her daughter, Wanda Allen (Joe); her son, Harry "Buddy" Ivey, Jr. (Connie); her grandchildren: Steven Allen (Angela), Amanda Graham (Wayon), Jonathan Ivey of Holly Springs, NC, and Alison Ivey Orvin (Nick) of Wendell, NC; her great-grandchildren: Rebecca Allen, Garrett Walton (Molly Clement) of Whiteville, NC, Sawyer Graham, and Wakely Graham; her great-great-grandson, Jack Elliott Walton; and special nieces, Vicky McLamb (David) and Brenda Sue Taylor.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, January 29, 2023, at 1:00 PM at Floyd Memory Gardens, 3720 Old Whiteville Road in Lumberton, NC, with Rev. Everette "Chip" Bass officiating. A time of visitation will be held immediately after the service.
