Lucy Singletary Smith, age 80, of Lumberton, passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2011 at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton. She was born in Bladen County on September 13, 1930 to the late Frank Singletary and Minnie Dunham Singletary.

Mrs. Smith is preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Marvin T. Smith.

She is survived by three sons, Danny W. Smith and wife, Bunny of Lumberton, NC, Russ Smith and wife, Jonia of Wilmington, NC and Mark Smith and wife, Linda of Sumter, SC; one brother, Ralph Singletary of Lumberton; one sister, Edna Hall of Tar Heel, NC; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at 2:00PM at Regan??s United Methodist Church in Lumberton with Rev. Bruce Skipper officiating. Burial will follow in the Regan??s United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening, April 12, 2011 from 7:00-9:00PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street, Lumberton.
