Mrs. Lucy Pearl Hunt Oxendine, age 88, of Lumberton, passed into eternal glory on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton. She was born in Robeson County on August 4, 1926. Mrs. Oxendine was preceded in death by her mother, Willie Maude Hunt; her husband, Earl Oxendine; a son, Michael Oxendine and a daughter, Jean Carol Oxendine. She leaves to cherish her memories with her daughter, Janice O. Oxendine and husband, Delton of Lumberton; five grandchildren, including Craven Earl Oxendine, of the home and seven great-grandchildren. A time of visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 12:00PM at Floyd Funeral Services, Inc., 1549 Marion Stage Road, Fairmont. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 1:00PM at Floyd Funeral Services Chapel in Fairmont. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Baptist Church Cemetery.
