Mrs. Lucille Prater Young, age 82, of Lumberton, passed away on Friday, February 20, 2015 at Golden Living Center in Lumberton. She was born in Pike County, KY on July 14, 1932 to the late Godfrey Prater and the late Lisa Estep Prater. Mrs. Young leaves to cherish her memories with her husband, Marton Young, of the home; a son, Audie Young of Rocky Mount, NC; a brother, William Parker of Plainfield, OH; one grandson, Chris Sluder and wife, Kellie and four great-grandchildren, Donovon, Kylan, Ryker and Madison. A time of visitation will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2015 from 6:00-8:00PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street, Lumberton. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, February 22, 2015 at 2:00PM at Gardens of Faith Cemetery in Lumberton with Rev. Michael Bowen officiating.
