L.T. Jones' Obituary
Lamon Thomas "L.T." Jones, age 77, of Lumberton, passed away Thursday, April 12, 2018, at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton. He was born October 19, 1940 in Robeson County to the late Robert Thomas Jones and the late Princie Etta Johnson Jones. He served in the National Guard and was later employed in construction.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Phillip Lee Jones.
He is survived by his wife Nancy Dowless Jones of the home; one son, Robert Thomas Jones of Charlotte; two brothers: Bobby Jones and wife Betty Faye and Buddy Jones and wife Judy, of Lumberton; and one sister, Linda Warwick and husband Ronald of Lumberton.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2018, at 2:00 PM at Meadowbrook Cemetery with Rev. Mark Meadows officiating. The family will receive friends at the graveside following the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Southeastern Hospice House, 1100 Pine Run Drive, Lumberton, NC 28358.
