Louise Andrews Pate, age 94, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at her home. She was born August 3, 1931 to the late Melvin & Lillian G. Andrews. She retired as a media secretary for the Public Schools of Robeson County. She was also a longtime member of Godwin Heights Baptist Church.

She is survived by her children, Mitchell Pate (Teresa) of N. Myrtle Beach, SC and Susan Clewis (Robert) of Lumberton, NC; her grandchildren: Cody Pate of Richmond, VA and April Zuiderven (Kirk) of Cornelius, NC; three great-grandchildren; her godson, Christopher Ward of Bladenboro, NC; and her sister, Carolyn Kirby of Lumberton, NC.

The family would like to recognize her caregivers for their compassion and care: Teresa Willoughby, Linda Oliver, JoAnn Dudney, Kristie Branch, Jill Prevatte, Michelle Williams, Rene Bennett, Melissa Johnson, Jane Monore, Linda McGirt and Liberty Hospice. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Godwin Heights Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends and loved ones prior to the service on Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 1:00-2:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton, NC. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM at the chapel with Dr. Leslie Sessoms officiating. Burial will follow at New Hollywood Cemetery in Lumberton, NC.
