Bobbie Louise Cottingham Parker, 97, passed away on Monday, August 22, 2022, at GlenFlora in Lumberton, NC. She was born in Dillon, SC on November 29, 1924.

Louise was preceded in death by her parents, Bobbie Cottingham and Lillian Harrelson Cottingham; her brother, Harry L. Cottingham; her husband of 66 years, Rembert Langley Parker; and her son, Gene Ashley Parker.

She is survived by her daughter, Deborrah Leigh Parker Sisty and husband John of North Myrtle Beach, SC; three grandchildren: Season Amber Sisty Coley and husband Thomas of Little River, SC, Kyle Ashley Parker of Virginia Beach, VA, and Parker Reed Sisty and wife Megan, of Edgewood, NM; and three great-grandchildren: Trent Weber Parker, Imogen Michele Sisty, and Izzy Leigh Sisty.

Louise was a graduate of the Baker Sanatorium Nurses' Home and School. She became a Registered Nurse at Southeastern General Hospital and then Dr. Carey Hedgpath's nurse for many years prior to retiring.

She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Lumberton, NC and the Glen Flora Circle.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2022, at 12:00 PM at Gardens of Faith Cemetery, 5190 Fayetteville Road in Lumberton, NC, with Rev. Tim Little officiating.
