Loretta Ann Godwin, age 46, of Lumberton, NC passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at Southeastern Health in Lumberton. She was born in Montgomery, MD of July 9, 1967 to Jack Benson and Jewel Cannady Benson. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Godwin is survived by her husband, Stanford Godwin of the home; sons, Robert Benson and Earl Godwin both of the home; daughter, Christina Callahan of Lumberton; brothers, Frank Benson of Baltimore, MD and Allen Benson of Raleigh; sisters, Patricia Benson of St. Pauls, Gloria Hunt and Jacqueline Deal both of Lumberton; and seven grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Floyd Memorial Chapel at 2:00 PM with Rev. Davie Locklear officiating. Burial will be in Freedom Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday, January 10, 2014 from 7:009-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street in Lumberton.
