Loree Prevatte Turbeville, 94, of 108 Turner Street, Fairmont, NC died on March 28, 2009 at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton, NC.

She is survived by one daughter, Linda Carol Hicks and husband, Dennis of Fairmont, NC; one son, Deryl S. Prevatte and wife, Flora of Simpsonville, SC; four grandchildren, Joy Goodyear, Suzanne Mackie and husband, Jim, Michelle Devanney and husband, Kevin and Kenneth D. Prevatte and wife, Kay; eight-great grandchildren, Tyler Prevatte, Eric Prevatte, Keleigh Prevatte, Liam Devanney, Mary Caroline Devanney, Jaime Goodyear, Jill Goodyear and Malcolm Mackie.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 30, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Cemetery in Fairmont, NC with the Rev. Jesse Yarborough officiating.

The family will receive friends at the home and following the services at the cemetery.
