Lois Anne Allen, 84, of Lumberton, died on Saturday, February 24, 2024 in the Carrolton of Lumberton Nursing Home.

Lois is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Myrtle Carroll; her husband Stacy; a sister, Doris Sellers; a brother, Jimmy Carroll, and one brother-in-law, Jimmy Sellers.

She is survived by one son, Edward Allen of Raeford; one daughter, Beverly McLean and her husband Jeff of Lumberton, NC; four grandchildren: Shaun McLean and his wife Rhonda of Hope Mills, NC, Jeremy McLean and his wife Jennifer of Raleigh, NC, Kyle Allen and his wife Kayla of Gadsden, AL, and Cortney Hendrix and her husband Evan of Raeford, NC; seven great-grandchildren: Landon, Tatum, Skye, Matteson, Stacy, Blake, and Kyla Jo; as well as a whole host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Lois was a long-time employee of Belk's department store, where she worked for over forty years. When not at work, she loved to spend time outside working in her yard, and also cleaning house (hers and others). She also loved to spend time with her dogs, "Babygirl" and "Sandy". Lois will be most remembered for the unending love for her husband, Stacy, who was her whole heart. The two of them shared over forty years of happiness together.

There will be a visitation held on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton, NC.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Floyd Memorial Chapel, 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton, NC, with a burial immediately following the service at Gardens of Faith Cemetery, 5190 N. Fayetteville Road in Lumberton, NC.
