Logan Chase Hendren, age 2, passed away at his home on Monday, December 2, 2013. He was born in Robeson County, NC on April 6, 2011 to Jarrod Keith Hendren and Samantha Meagan Newton Hendren. Along with his parents, Logan is survived by a brother, Luke Hendren of the home; grandparents, Charlie and Cindy Taylor, Jim and Janet "MJ" Newton, and Joe and Lisa Hendren, all of Lumberton; great-grandparents, Craven and Martha Lawson of Lumberton; special aunt, Kacie Taylor of Lumberton; special uncle, Justin Hendren of Lumberton, special nurses and caregivers, and a loving dog, Waylon. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2013 at 2:00 PM at East Lumberton Baptist Church with Rev. LeRoy Burke and Dr. Martin Brooks officiating. Burial will follow in West Family Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 from 7:00-9:00 PM at East Lumberton Baptist Church, 201 Old Whiteville Road in Lumberton.
