Lloyd Thomas Barnes, age 55, of Lumberton, NC died on Thursday, May 6, 2010 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center. He was born in Robeson County, NC on May 4, 1955 to Hubert and Eva Mae Wilkins Barnes, Sr.. He worked for Schenker.

He was preceded in death by his father, Hubert Barnes, Sr.

Mr. Barnes is survived by his wife, Cherol Barnes of the home; his mother Eva Barnes of Lumberton, NC; children, Marsha Barnes Beal, Jamie Barnes Smith and husband Allan, Ashley Barnes, James Kelly and wife Denise all of Lumberton, NC, Steven Kelly and wife Miye of Fort Benning, GA, Bettina Kelly and fiance Joshua Bullard and Kendra Kelly of Lumberton, NC; three brothers, Hubert Barnes, Jr. and wife Kathy of Smiths, AL, Johnny Ray Barnes and wife Saria and Kenneth Dale Barnes and wife Mary of Lumberton, NC; two sisters, Jean Barnes Hayes and husband Gerald and Sandra Barnes Bishop and husband Roger of Lumberton, NC; twelve grandchildren, Brittany Beal, Chandler Beal, Chasity Beal, Amber Ruth Smith, JeweleeAnne Speights, Nicholas Revels, Jadyn Kelly, Cameron Kelly, Bethany Kelly, Tyler Kelly, Adalia Kelly and Chloe Belle Bullard; and several nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Floyd Memory Garden with Rev. Johnny Bruce officiating.

Visitation will be Friday evening, May 7, 2010 from 7:00-9:00 at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton.
