Lisa Hill Stone, age 48, of Orrum, NC, passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at her home. She was born in Robeson County, NC on December 13, 1975, to the late Charles & Jeannette Freeman.

She was a public school teacher for 22 years, touching many lives throughout the years. She loved playing the piano and organ at Hog Swamp Baptist Church, where she was a lifetime member. She also served as the President of WMU and a Sunday School teacher. Lisa loved taking trips to the mountains and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, James Stone of the home; her son, Stephen Hill and wife Haleigh of Chadbourn, NC; her stepchildren, Andrew Stone of Orrum, NC, Amber Stone of Orrum, NC, and Donna Stone of Lumberton, NC; her brother, Terry Freeman and wife Rená of Orrum, NC; her nieces: Gracie Freeman and Charley Freeman, both of Orrum, NC, and Jesica Nance of Boardman, NC; her nephew, Justin Nance of Boardman, NC; great-nieces and great-nephew: Rylee Jolly, Aleeah Jolly, and Brayden Jolly; and many other extended family members.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Saturday, October 19, 2024, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton, NC.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 20, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Hog Swamp Baptist Church, 3689 Wire Grass Road in Lumberton, NC, with Pastor Tony Ward officiating. Burial will follow at Meadowbrook Cemetery in Lumberton, NC.
