Lisa Marie Ramsey, 47, passed away Sunday July 21, 2024, from Stage 4 pancreatic cancer surrounded by family. Lisa was born April 23, 1977 in Ft. Stewart, Georgia, to Lawrence and Monnie Holbrook. Lisa loved her alone time snuggled up with her fur babies and family doing just the simple things in life.

In 2006, Lisa graduated with honors with a degree in Nursing, working as an ER nurse 'til her final days. Lisa married Donald Ramsey on September 29, 2001. The two were each other's best friends, lifelong companions, and soulmates. They were blessed with one child, Aiden.

Lisa worked as an ER nurse at Womack Army Medical Center in Ft. Bragg, NC and was known by her colleagues for her beautiful soul, always so easy to talk to and always there for others.

She was an avid reader and loved to play solitaire and crossword puzzles. Other hobbies included traveling, motorcycles, beach walks, and sitting outside listening to the rain.

Lisa is survived by her husband, Donald; her son, Aiden; her parents, Lawrence & Monnie Holbrook; her brother, Kevin, and sister-in-law, Julie; and many nieces & nephews, numerous friends, and family members.

Lisa will be especially remembered for her love for her family, her beautiful soul and love for others, and her no-BS attitude, as she will tell you as it is.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at 2:00 PM at New Life Church, 3990 Fayetteville Road in Lumberton, NC with Rev. Tim Williford officiating.
