Mrs. Lisa Michelle Ivey Monroe, age 52, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Monday, December 7, 2020, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, NC. She was born in Robeson County, NC on October 9, 1968 and was employed as a secretary for Robeson County Offender Resource Center.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Archie Neil & Mary Elizabeth Troublefield; her paternal grandparents, Durham & Janie Ivey; and her husband, Joe Guylon Monroe II.

She is survived by her parents, Eugene Ivey and Peggy Troublefield Ivey of Bladenboro, NC; her stepchildren, Jordan Tyler Monroe of Raleigh, NC and Morgan Elizabeth Monroe of Lumberton, NC; her sister, Dawn Brisson and husband Kevin of Bladenboro, NC; two nieces, Mackenzie Brisson and Hayden Brisson, both of Bladenboro, NC; and a nephew, Nolan Brisson of Bladenboro, NC.

A private family graveside service will be held at Gardens of Faith Cemetery with Rev. Charles Brust officiating.
