Mr. Linwood W. Rhodes, age 90, of Lumberton, passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at Golden Living Nursing Facility. A Graveside service will be held Saturday, August 22, 2015 at 11:00AM in Floyd Memorial Cemetery in Fairmont. The Family will visit with friends following the service at the graveside. Mr. Rhodes was born March 9, 1925 in Robeson County to the late D.R. and Dora Barnes Rhodes. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Beulah S. Rhodes and a son, Jimmy Rhodes. He is survived by a son, Kenneth Rhodes and wife Debbie of Lumberton; two sisters, Dora L. Britt of Lumberton and Yetta Watson of Fairmont; two grandchildren, Jimmy Rhodes and Kendra Rhodes; one great-grandchild, Karleigh Freeman.
