Linda E. West, age 72, of Lumberton, passed away Friday, January 26, 2018, at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro. She was born September 13, 1945 in Lumber Bridge to the late June English and the late Dorothy Ward English.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by three sons: Kenneth Dewayne Burchette of Roseboro, Randy Lee Burchette of Clinton, and James Fredrick Britt of Lumberton; eight grandchildren: Curtis Faircloth, Tina Gray, Crystal Sessoms, Christina Jones, Jillian McLamb, Jared Burchette, Jacob Britt, and Noah Britt; twelve great-grandchildren; three brothers: Willie English and Jessie English, both of California, and Dan English of White Oak; and one sister, Peggy Warner of High Point.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Wednesday, January 31, 2018, from 10:00-11:00 AM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc. in Lumberton.

Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM in the Chapel with Pastor Tim Williford, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Faith Cemetery in Lumberton.
