Mrs. Linda Sue Brown Smith, age 72, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2020, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, NC. She was born in Robeson County, NC on April 11, 1948 to the late Julius Barney Brown and the late Retha Mae Byrd Brown. Linda retired from Southeastern Regional Medical Center as an LPN.

Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, Julius Wayne Brown-Smith; two brothers, Henry James Brown and Donnie Ray Myers; two sisters, Mary Evelyn Pope and Gail Jeanette Phillips; and her furbaby, Princess Lady.

She is survived by her husband Barney S. Smith of the home; her daughter, Samantha Smith Davis and husband Kevin Edward Davis, Jr. of Sumter, SC; a beloved grandson, Oliver Samuel Davis; a brother, William Brown of Charlotte, NC; and her loving furbaby, Kairi.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, December 26, 2020, at 2:00 PM at New Hollywood Cemetery in Lumberton, NC.
