Linda Rice, 79, of Lumberton, NC, passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2023, at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, NC. Linda was born on December 26, 1943 in Dillon County, South Carolina to the late Grady and Lucy McKeller Bracey.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her siblings: Alfred Bracey, Marion Bracey, and Diane Rowell.

Linda is survived by her husband of 57 years, J.M. Rice, of the home, and their children: Charity Wilkins (Shane) of Sneads Ferry, NC and Luci Rozier (Paul) of Lumberton, NC; her siblings: Jimmy Bracey (Nell), Sammy Bracey (Tammy), and Delores Smith; her grandchildren: Lucinda Edens, Haleigh Skipper, Marshall Wilkins, William Wilkins, and John Paul Rozier; and her great-grandchildren: Bracey, Jaxon, Caison, Shane, Emory, Charlotte, Graham, Declan, and Everett.

A time of visitation will take place on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street in Lumberton, NC.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Gardens of Faith Mausoleum, 5190 N. Fayetteville Road in Lumberton, NC.
