Linda Gray Ransom, 73, of St. Pauls, NC, died Thursday, September 30, 2021, at her residence.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rodney & Vera May Ransom, and a brother, Eugene Ransom.

Ms. Linda was a faithful Christian who loved the Lord. She was a devoted wife, mother, mother-in-law, daughter, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend who was loved by all who knew her. She will be greatly missed by all.

Ms. Linda is survived by two daughters, Frances Locklear (Eric) and Angela Jones, both of St. Pauls, NC; a son, Aaron Jones (April) of St. Pauls, NC; a special baby, Angel Meeks of the home; two sisters, Vicky Revels (Donald) of Lumberton, NC and Vennie Jones of Maxton, NC; a special nephew, Eugene Ransom, Jr. of Red Springs, NC; 11 grandchildren: Justin, Jacoma, Geronimo, Faith, David, Dakota, Austin, Aaron, Mya, Alona, and Aryana; and 7 great-grandchildren: Jakya, London, Angel, Vera, Devonta, Natalynn, and Aliyah.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Wednesday, October 6, 2021, from 2:00-3:00 PM at West Saddletree Baptist Church in Lumberton, NC. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM with Pastor DeWayne Locklear and Pastor Jerel Brewer officiating. Burial will follow in the church's cemetery.
