Linda Lou Nye , 60, of 823 East 6th Street, died Thursday, May 1, 2008 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lenwood Nye; and her granddaughter, Noelle Hester.
She is survived by her mother, Magalene Hardin of Lumberton; her step-father, Lester Hardin of Lumberton; two sons, Jeff Nye and Mike Thorndyke both of Lumberton; her daughter, Wanda Thorndyke Hester and husband, David of Lumberton; her sister, Brenda Smith and husband, Alfred of Lumberton; her niece, Vanessa Singletary and husband, Jay of Lumberton; her great-niece, Anna Grace Singletary of Lumberton; her great-nephew, Greyson Singletary of Lumberton; and five grandchildren, April Stone and husband, Jeffrey, Kellie Nye, Jeffrey Nye, Amber Nye and D.J. Hester.
The graveside service will be Saturday, May 3, 2008 at Floyd Memory Gradens at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Joe Bounds officiating.
The family will receive friends Friday, May 2, 2008 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc.
