Linda Carol
Hunt
Oct 7, 1961 — Apr 30, 2025
Fairmont
With deep love and cherished memories, we celebrate the life of Linda Carol Hunt, who peacefully entered eternal rest on April 30, 2025, at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, North Carolina.
She was born on October 7, 1961, in Fairmont, North Carolina, to the late Eisie Bell Hunt and William Hunt. Linda attended the Public Schools of Robeson County, where she laid the foundation for a life of dedication and strength.
Linda was a woman of grace, strength, and kindness. She had a natural gift for bringing joy to others, always ready with a warm smile, a kind word, or a good laugh. If you knew her, you knew that laughter was her love language. She enjoyed crafting, spending quality time with her family, and relaxing with her favorite show, Law & Order. Her presence was comforting, her spirit uplifting, and her love unconditional.
In addition to her mother, Linda was preceded in death by her brothers, James L. Hunt and Larry Hunt.
Linda's life was a true reflection of love, laughter, and resilience. She leaves behind a family strengthened by her presence and forever touched by her example. Though she is no longer with us in body, her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her.
She leaves behind three loving children who will carry her memory forward with pride: Treasa Hunt Thompson (Anthony), of Tega Cay, SC, Pamela Hunt of Rock Hill, SC, and Ronald Hunt Jr. of Fairmont, NC; her father, William Hunt of Fairmont; two brothers, William and Terry Hunt.Linda was a proud and devoted grandmother to ten grandchildren, Nyasia Jones ( Demorris), Jasmine Hunt, Niquay Jones (Tyniyah), Juwan Pegues (Kira), Jamena Pegues, Kamar Thompson (Dee), Michael Hunt, Zykiro McRae, and the late Ayanna Thompson; special grandkids, Kel, Brandon (Sisi), Logan, Bolo, Zay, Shiloh, Lulu, Quissy, Kamarey, TT, Meki, and Lauryn; special Friend, Ricky Speights; Life besties, Bessie Thompson and Carolyn Moore; Her legacy also lives on in her six great-grandchildren, each of whom she adored deeply.
