Linda Elizabeth Oliver Huggins, age 76, of Lumberton, NC died on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton.  She was born in Robeson County, NC on April 24, 1940 to the late Mars Lovill Oliver and the late Annie Ellerby McKellar Oliver.  She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Charles Huggins, Sr.; and her sister, Sandra Oliver Kelly.

Mrs. Huggins is survived by her sons, John Charles Huggins, Jr. (Cheryl) of Staunton, VA and Bryan Huggins (Jennifer) of Cary; daughter, Harriet Wilson (David) of Cary; sisters, Sara Brown of Dortches, and Rachel Frick of Greensboro; grandchildren, Hannah Wilson, Claire Wilson, Matthew Huggins, Megan Moskowitz; and great-grandchildren, Allie Moskowitz and John Moskowitz.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at 3:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel in Lumberton with Dr. David Elks officiating.  Burial will follow in Meadowbrook Cemetery.  A time of visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00-3:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street in Lumberton.
