Linda Cain Goodermote, age 65, passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at Southeastern Health of Lumberton. She was born on October 28, 1948 in Robeson County to the late Ervin Cain and the late Margaret Rozier Cain. She was formerly the secretary for St. Francis de Sales School. She is survived by her former husband and best friend, James Goodermote, Sr.; her son, James Goodermote, Jr. and wife, Gwendolyn, of Concord; her brothers, Wayne Cain and James Cain, both of Lumberton; and her sister, Lillian Cain, also of Lumberton. A time of visitation will take place on Friday, January 3, 2014 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Zion Tabernacle Baptist Church of Lumberton with Rev. Bob Jordan officiating. Burial will follow at Floyd Memory Gardens of Lumberton.
