Lila Norris, age 39, of Mount Hope, WV, formerly of Robeson County, NC, passed away on Monday, September 7, 2026. She was born in Wake Forest, NC on July 22, 1987. She never met a stranger and loved being around others. Her favorite animal was cats and she cared for them deeply.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lila May and Silas Monroe Norris; grandparents Pat and Aaron Murdock, Sr.; grandparents Cara and Ed Mishoe; her mother, Anna Murdock Norris; a cousin, Zachary Murdock; and an uncle, Ron Murdock.

She is survived by her father, Tony Norris of Evergreen, NC, along with several extended family members, friends, and loved ones.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 14, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Floyd Memory Gardens, 3720 Old Whiteville Road in Lumberton, NC.
