Lidia Flores, de 63 años, de Red Springs, NC, falleció el jueves 31 de octubre de 2024 en su casa con sus seres queridos a su lado. Nació en Apanguito, Guerrero, México el 3 de agosto de 1961 al Sr. Delfino Flores Galeana y la Sra. Elena Hernandez Meza.

Lidia y su esposo Rufo se mudaron a Estados Unidos en 1987 y establecieron aquí su hogar. Antes de mudarse a EE.UU, Lidia era maestra de kinder en México. Lidia amaba a su familia y especialmente a sus nietos.

Le sobreviven su esposo, Rufo Capote; su hija, Tania Flores Capote (Miguel); sus hijos: David Capote-Flores (Andrea), Edgar Flores-Capote (Janine) y Ruffo Flores-Capote (Jacquelyn); sus nietos: Elena Capote, Emma Capote, Kevin Marin, Isabella Granillo, David Capote II, Gisselle Marin, Esperanza Capote, Benjamin Capote, Edgar Capote, Liliana Capote, Allen Marin; su hermana, Blanca Flores-Hernández; y su hermano, Marcos Flores Hernández.

El velorio se llevará a cabo el jueves 7 de noviembre de 2024 de 5:00 p.m. a 8:00 p.m. en Floyd Mortuary and Crematory, 809 E. 5th Street en Lumberton, NC.

Se llevará a cabo una misa funeral  el sábado 9 de noviembre de 2024 a las 10:00 a.m. en la Iglesia Católica St. Francis de Sales, 2000 E. Elizabethtown Road in Lumberton, NC. Después del funeral, el entierro sucederá en Floyd Memory Gardens, 3720 Old Whiteville Road in Lumberton, NC.

Lidia Flores, age 63, of Red Springs, NC, passed away at her home, surrounded by her family on Thursday, October 31, 2024. She was born in Apanguito, Guerrero, Mexico on August 3, 1961 to Delfino Flores Galeana and Elena Hernandez Meza.

Lidia and her husband, Rufo, moved to the United States in 1987 and established their home here. Before moving to the U.S., Lidia was a kindergarten teacher in Mexico. Lidia loved her family and especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Rufo Capote; daughter, Tania Capote-Marin (Miguel); sons: David Capote-Flores (Andrea), Edgar Flores-Capote (Janine), and Ruffo Flores-Capote (Jacquelyn); grandchildren: Elena Capote, Emma Capote, Kevin Marin, Isabella Granillo, David Capote II, Giselle Marin, Esperanza Capote, Benjamin Capote, Edgar Capote, Liliana Capote, Allen Marin; sister, Blanca Flores-Hernandez; and brother, Marcos Flores-Hernandez.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2024, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary and Crematory, 809 E. 5th Street, Lumberton, NC 28358.

A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at 10:00 AM at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 2000 E. Elizabethtown Road, Lumberton, NC 28358. Burial will follow at Floyd Memory Gardens, 3720 Old Whiteville Road in Lumberton, NC.
