Lewis Gray, 64, of 14743 Hwy 72 East, Orrum, NC died Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, NC. He was born January 21, 1945 to the late Sam and Gertrude Islamae Lane Gray in Robeson County, NC.

The funeral will be Friday, May 8, 2009 at 3:00 PM at Mt. Elim Baptist Church with the Reverend Jeff Broadwell officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Elim Baptist Church Cemetery.

Surviving are a son, Kelvin Lewis Gray and wife, Andrea of Chesapeake, VA; a daughter, Lori Gray Britt and husband, Bobby H. Britt, Jr. of Orrum, NC; four grandchildren, Cory Mac Britt and wife, Amber of Murrells Inlet, SC, Bobbi Lynn Britt of Lumberton, Kennedy Logan Gray and Karsen Lauren Gray both of Chesapeake, VA; and seven brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc. in Lumberton, NC on Thursday, May 8, 2009. Additional visitations will be at the home of Bobby and Lori Britt, 14621 Hwy 72 East, Orrum, NC. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Elim Baptist Church, 645 N. Creek Road, Orrum, NC 28369.
