Mrs. Letha Mae Taylor Freeman, age 87, passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2015, at Wesley Pines Retirement Center. She was born in Bladen County on April 22, 1928 to the late Fletcher and Lillie Mae Taylor. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Earl Freeman; and two sons: Terry Freeman and Mickey Herbert Freeman. She is survived by three sons: Harold Taylor and wife, Vickie, of Bladenboro, Jimmy Lynn Freeman and wife, Donna, of Orrum, and Richard Freeman and wife, Vickey, of Fairmont; a daughter-in-law, Jackie Freeman of Lumberton; one sister, Rae Hall and husband Johnny of Bladenboro; seven grandchildren: Twyla Davis and husband Dale, Greg Taylor, Brad Taylor and wife Caroline, Kellie Freeman, Renee Collins and husband Adam, Bryan Freeman and wife Kellie, and Amanda Burns and husband Greyson; and ten great-grandchildren. A time of visitation will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 24, 2015, at Hog Swamp Baptist Church. Immediately following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Tony Ward and Rev. Larry Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Faith Cemetery.
