Mr. LeRoy Henderson, age 80, of Lumberton, passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2016 at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton.  He was born in Mullins, SC on May 14, 1935 to the late Levey Henderson and the late Lorean Rogers Henderson.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Hubert, Levey J., W.P., Jack and Billy Henderson; two sisters, Vivian Causey and Betty Smith and a son-in-law, Bruce McQueen.

He leaves to cherish his memories with his wife of sixty-one years, Bernise Cook Henderson of the home; two sons, LeRoy Henderson, Jr. (Susan) of Tarheel and Gary Henderson (Marie) of Lumberton; one daughter, Gail McQueen of Lumberton; one sister, Sally ("Easy") Garner of Lumberton; four grandchildren, Dawn Brown (Dan), Dan McQueen, Hannah Henderson and Garron Henderson and a great-grandchildren, Kendall Brown.

A time of visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 from 1:00-2:00PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street, Lumberton.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at 2:00PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel with Rev. Gary Henderson and Rev. Michael Skinner officiating.  Burial will follow at Gardens of Faith Cemetery in Lumberton.
