Leonard Louis Tootill, 70, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2017, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville. He was born December 11, 1946 in Baltimore, MD to the late William "Red" and Doris Tootill. He retired from the US Army.

He is survived by his wife Marilyn Tootill of the home; his children: Chris Tootill and wife Dawn of Lumberton and Stephanie Fischer and husband Albert of Myrtle Beach, SC; four brothers: William "Bill" Tootill of OK, and John Tootill, Raymond Tootill, and Harry Tootill, all of Baltimore, MD; two sisters: Betty Taylor and Dottie Stiverson, both of Elkins, WV; and six grandchildren: William "Billy" DeRoo, Amanda DeRoo, Emilee DeRoo, Amber Collins, Skylar Fischer, and Erin Fischer.

A time of visitation will take place on Saturday, February 18, 2017, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 19, 2017, at 1:00 PM at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Lumberton with President John Ricks officiating. Burial will follow at Floyd Memory Gardens.
