Mr. Leonard "Buddy" Odum, age 81, of Lumberton, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at his home, surrounded by his family.  He was born in Robeson County, NC on December 11, 1938 to the late Harvey Thomas Odum and the late Lessie Prevatte Odum.  He previously worked as an electrician with Gene's Electric for thirty-one years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters, Elsie Russell, Selma Rice, Leona Glasson and Mildred Creech and five brothers, Robert, Kenneth, Edward, Gerald and F.G. Odum.

"Buddy" is survived by his wife of sixty years, Betty Davis Odum of the home; his three children, Lisa Lewis (Cary), Mary Beth Brigman and Thomas Odum; a sister, Barbara McLamb; his grandchildren, Kristen Parker, Lauren Barnes (Michael), Jessica Morton (Travis), Morgan Brigman and Evan and Seth Odum; five great-grandchildren and one special delivery expected in June.

A private graveside service will be held at Floyd Memory Gardens in Lumberton.
