Lennie Mae Stone Noble, 95, of Goldsboro, NC, formerly of Lumberton, NC, passed away Sunday, November 27, 2022, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro, NC. Lennie was born on January 8, 1927 in Robeson County, NC to the late Horace Stone and Ida Bell Penny Stone.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Wilton Noble; her daughter, Dayle Noble Biba; her sons, James Wilton Noble and Charles David Noble; and her siblings: Horace Stone, Jr., Charles Stone, Betty Hanson, and Mary Helen Lassiter.

Lennie is survived by her children, Martha Bridgers and husband Paul of Goldsboro, NC and Jean White and husband Ronald of Autryville, NC; her grandchildren: Michael White, Christian White Stanton, Heath Hublitz, Paul Bridgers III, Joseph Bridgers, Nathaniel Bridgers, Jessica Bridgers Standifer, and Natalie Bridgers; and her great-grandchildren: Zoe Hublitz, Henry Stanton, George Standifer, Henry Standifer, and Phoebe Harris.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Lennie's caregiver, Laverne Blakely.

Lennie was a homemaker who loved to sew and enjoyed putting puzzles together. She especially loved to make aprons and pot holders that she gave away. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.

The family will receive friends and loved ones prior to the service on Saturday, December 3, 2022, from 11:00AM - 12:00PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton, NC. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM in the chapel with Rev. Mike Bowen officiating. Burial will follow at New Hollywood Cemetery in Lumberton, NC.
