Mr. Lee Ross Brady, age 70, of Burgaw, NC passed away Friday, December 30, 2022, in Raleigh, NC. Mr. Brady was born November 28, 1952 in Scotland County, NC to the late Virgil Ray Brady and the late Alice Ashley Brady. Mr. Brady attended Guilford College and East Carolina University. He served in the U.S. Air Force and retired from the Department of Veterans Affairs after a long career. He loved the outdoors, playing golf, and going to the beach.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Bob Brady and Gail Brady McMahon.

He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Staton Brady of the home; two daughters, Ashley Brady of Durham, NC and Rachel Alpiser and husband Justin of Cary, NC; his beloved Aunt Ross and his best friend of 50 years, Mike Goolsby; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

The family will receive friends and loved ones prior to the service on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, from 10:00-11:00 AM at Floyd Funeral Services, 1549 Marion Stage Road in Fairmont, NC. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM with Reverends Jesse Staton and Neal Salter officiating.
