Laura Walters Speights, age 63, of Orrum, NC, passed away Saturday, June 27, 2020, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, NC. Mrs. Speights was born on January 26, 1957 in Dillon County, SC.

She was preceded in death by her father, Hilary Joseph Walters; a son, Joseph Anthony Pugh; and a sister, Betty Lynn Bryan.

Laura is survived by her husband, Henslee "Johnny" Speights of the home; a daughter, Lydia Nicole Walters of Orrum, NC; her mother, Josephine Ivey Walters of Orrum, NC; two brothers, Hilary Joseph Walters, Jr. and wife Tina of Orrum, NC and Mark Anthony Walters and wife Donna Lynn of Fairmont, NC; two sisters, Pattie Walters Speights and husband Bobby of Lumberton, NC and Vickie Walters Shelton and husband L.D. of Southern Pines, NC; and three grandchildren: David Adam Floyd, India Ivey Walters, and Carlie Joleen Walters.

A private graveside service will be held on Friday, July 3, 2020.
