Mr. Laughton Junior West, age 86, of Bladenboro, NC, passed away Thursday, November 23, 2023, at Woodhaven Nursing Center in Lumberton, NC. He was born in Robeson County, NC on September 15, 1937 to the late Laughton & Elaine Taylor West.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Wright West, and a brother, Dean West.

He is survived by his sons, Gregory West and Reed Hester; his daughter, Tiffany Weaver (Mike); his grandchildren: Victoria West, Jared West, Brandie Carter (Adam), Jordan Weaver, and Justyn Weaver; 6 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Hubert West (Barbara) and Pope West (Linda); and two sisters, Etha Brisson and Faye Stocks.

A Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Floyd Memory Gardens, 3720 Old Whiteville Road, Lumberton, NC.
