Mrs. Latasha Rose Floyd, age 37, of 291 Bowman Road, Lumberton, died on October 26, 2010 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Christopher Floyd; a brother, William ??Boo Boo? Cummings and her paternal and maternal grandparents.

She is survived by her parents, Wade and Judith Cummings of the home; a daughter, Krista Shakari Floyd of the home; three step-children, Cierra, Kiarra and Red Williams of South Carolina; a ??second son,? Travor Britt of Lumberton; three sisters, Melissa Jones and husband, Randolph, Regina Locklear and husband, Dennis, and Jill Hunt and husband, Wayne; one brother, Anthony Cummings and wife, Gloria, all of Lumberton; a special cousin, Michelle McDonald of Lumberton; three nephews, Timothy Cummings, Nicklus Cummings and Waylon Jones; six nieces, Natasha Atkinson, Ashley Cummings, Tracie Faircloth, Cassandra Cummings, Kayla Cummings and Layla Hunt and a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2010 at 4:00PM at New Vision Church of God with Rev. James Earl Hammonds, Rev. Michael Sanders and Rev. Teresa Lee officiating. Burial will follow in New Point Baptist Church Cemetery.

A visitation will be held on Friday evening from 7:00-9:00PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street, Lumberton.
