Mrs. Larue Gwendolyn Davis Martin, age 72, of Lumberton, passed away Monday, October 29, 2018, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton. She was born on November 13, 1945 in Robeson County to the late Fred Kay Davis and the late Molly Verna Hall Davis. She was formerly employed as a sales clerk for Hallmark Cards, Inc.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Martin; her daughter, Tina G. Martin; and a brother, Carey Davis.

She is survived by two brothers: James Davis and wife Debbie of Lumberton and Kenneth S. Davis of Pembroke; a sister-in-law, Brenda Davis of Calabash; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 1, 2018, from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc. in Lumberton.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 2, 2018, at 11:00 AM at Floyd Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jami Lewter officiating. Burial will follow at Meadowbrook Cemetery in Lumberton.
