Larry Wayne Lewis, 73, passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2016, at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton. He was born in Robeson County on March 31, 1943 to the late A.C. and Maitland Lewis. He was formerly employed as a scale technician at Toledo Scales.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Gerald Lewis.

He is survived by two daughters: Jennifer Pittman and Sherry Lewis, both of Lumberton; two brothers: Bobby K. Lewis and wife Violet of Fairmont and Clay Lewis and wife Jamie of Lenoir; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, October 9, 2016, at 2:00 PM at Floyd Memory Gardens. Following the service, family will receive friends at the graveside.
