Larry Franklin Fields, age 65, of Lumberton, NC died on Sunday, May 6, 2012 at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton. He was born in Robeson County, NC on December 6, 1946 to the late Eric Fields and the late Velma Musselwhite. He was a veteran of the 82nd Airborne United States Army and then worked as an iron worker.

Mr. Fields is survived by his wife, Gail Sealey Stone Fields of the home; son, Daniel and Wendy Fields of Lumberton; granddaughter, Elizabeth Fields; other family members, Arren and Diane Stone, Quincey, Misty and Erin Stone and Donald, Debbie and Taylor Stone, all of Lumberton; brother, Robert and Jennifer Fields of Lumberton; and nieces, Hope Wallis and Jada Taylor.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at 8:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel in Lumberton with Rev. Jeff Broadwell officiating.

Burial will be on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at 11:00 AM in Gardens of Faith Cemetery in Lumberton.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 from 6:30-8:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton.
