Larry James "Buddy" Edwards, of Orrum, NC, died Saturday, February 3, 2024, at Premier Living and Rehabilitation Center in Lake Waccamaw. He was born on July 4, 1951.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elwood Soloman Edwards and Ella Mae Prevatte Edwards; and five brothers, Herbert, Woody, Jack, Billy, and Gene Edwards.

He is survived by his daughter, Lesley Edwards Hinson (Richard) of Salisbury; a son, Casey Edwards of Myrtle Beach, SC; a brother, Tom Edwards (Kaye) of Rockwell, NC; two sisters, Shelby Baxley and Mary Ellen Taylor, both of Lumberton; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, February 9, 2024, from 1:00-2:00PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street, Lumberton.

Following the visitation, a graveside service will be held on Friday, February 9, 2024, at 2:30PM at New Hollywood Cemetery in Lumberton, NC with Bro. Richie Hinson officiating.
