Lanness "Knox" McKee III, age 16, of Fairmont, passed away Friday, June 27, 2014 at his residence. A graveside service will be held Monday, June 30, 2014 at 11:00AM at McKee Family Cemetery in Clarkton, NC with Rev. Ed Johnson officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, June 29, 2014 from 6:00-8:00PM at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont. He was born April 30, 1998 in Robeson County, NC. He is survived by his parents, Lanness Knox McKee, Jr. and Cristy McKee of the home; one sister, Nicole McKee of Lumberton; his grandparents, Lanness Knox McKee, Sr. and Ann McKee; his grandmother, Alice Byrd of Fairmont; nephew Jayden Rush of Lumberton; and many special aunts, uncles, and cousins.
