Mr. Kistler Paul Buie, 86, of St. Pauls, NC, passed away Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at Lower Cape Fear Hospice House in Whiteville, NC. He was born in Darlington County, SC on March 5, 1935 to the late Palmer and Pauline Buie.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by 7 brothers: John Buie, Jim Buie, Roy Buie, Wilson Buie, Julian Buie, Ronald Buie, and Raeford Buie; a sister, Hazel Thompson; a brother-in-law, Theo Thompson; and a grandson, William Wright.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Stephens Buie; his children, Paul Buie, Jr. (Julie) and Gladys Susan Buie; four grandchildren: Jamie Roberts, Jordan Roberts (Kate), Stephen Wright, and Sarah Martinez (C.W.); two brothers, Gerald Buie (Bettina) and Robert Buie; and 6 sisters-in-law: Edna Buie, Louise Buie, Lois Buie, Mae Belle Buie, Martha Buie, and Patricia Buie.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2021, at 3:00 PM at Gardens of Faith Cemetery in Lumberton, NC with Rev. Mike Williams officiating.
