Mr. Kinnie Howell, age 64, of Lumberton, entered into eternal rest with the Lord on Friday, June 21, 2019, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton.  He was born in Robeson County on July 27, 1954 to the late Lloyd Furman Howell and the late Alberta Smith Howell.  He received his education through the Public Schools of Robeson County and was employed with Universal Packaging as a pressman until retirement after 40 years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Stacy Lee Howell and Weldon Howell.

He leaves to cherish his memories with his siblings: Furman Howell, Bobby Howell (Shirley), Glenn Russell Howell (Vanessa), Steve Howell (Nichele), and Myra Graham, all of Lumberton; a very special brother, Kenneth Graham, who, along with his sister-in-law, Shirley Howell, always made sure Kinnie had a hot, nutritional meal when he was working; and a very special friend, Synthia Jones. Kinnie also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews who he loved and had a special relationship with.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Thursday, June 27, 2019, from 11:00AM – 12:00PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel, 809 E. 5 ^th Street in Lumberton.

Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM with Rev. Brenda McArthur Strong, Rev. Melissa Howell, Bishop Leo Dawson, and Mother Queen Dawson officiating. Entombment will follow at Blanks Family Cemetery in Lumberton.
